Support the Market Risk Technology team in transforming and automating data-quality and data-lineage processes within the Market Risk Platform (MRP). The role will focus on improving manual processes through automation and AI/GenAI while supporting data lineage, data quality controls and market-risk reporting.

Analyse and document data flows, data lineage, interfaces and transformation rules across the Market Risk Platform.

Analyse tickets, code repositories and documentation to identify data flows, dependencies and root causes of data-quality issues.

Gather and validate requirements with business, data and technology stakeholders.

Support data-flow analysis for transformation initiatives and assess downstream impact.

Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI/GenAI and other automation tools.

Support UAT, change delivery and lifecycle tracking of data flows.

Collaborate with business, Risk, Data and Technology teams to resolve data and documentation gaps.

Support data-quality governance, BCBS239 compliance and audit activities.

MUST

*Proven end-to-end Business Analysis delivery experience, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, user stories and UAT. *Hands-on experience applying AI/GenAI tools to real business or data automation/analysis problems. *Knowledge and experience with data lineage and data-quality control frameworks. *Process re-engineering / process transformation experience. *Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing. *Ability to work with Risk Managers, FM Operations and Finance. *Experience working in an Agile development environment. *Ability to drive requirements and communicate effectively with developers. *Python for scripting/automation, ideally including AI/ML libraries.

SQL and/or MDX.

  • Understanding of Financial Markets business and Market Risk systems, such as Active Pivot or risk-ETL.
