The Business Analyst partners with business and technology stakeholders to define, document and validate the future-state processes, operating models, governance arrangements, data requirements and technology capabilities needed to deliver strategic transformation. The role has an initial focus on the MDM Transformation and Lead-to-Cash (L2C) Optimisation Programme, while providing a reusable business analysis capability for future transformations and projects.

Future-State Process & Operating Model Design * Document current-state processes, pain points, hand-offs, controls, systems and data flows. * Facilitate the design of future-state MDM and L2C processes, including roles, responsibilities, controls, approvals and escalation routes. * Develop clear process maps, business rules, RACI models and supporting operating procedures. * Assess the impact of proposed changes across people, process, data, technology, controls and governance and work together with the change manager to understand the change impact. * Ensure future-state designs are practical, consistent and aligned to agreed programme principles.
Data, Governance & Controls * Analyse master data structures, hierarchies, definitions, ownership, stewardship and quality requirements. * Support definition of data standards, critical data elements, business glossary content and data quality rules. * Identify control gaps and define requirements for approvals, monitoring, exception management and auditability. Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards and Custodians to ensure business accountability is reflected in future processes.
Solution Delivery & Validation * Translate business requirements into clear inputs for architects, technical teams and implementation partners. * Support solution option assessment, design reviews and evaluation against agreed requirements. * Develop test scenarios and support user acceptance testing, defect triage and business sign-off. * Confirm delivered capabilities meet agreed business outcomes and identify any residual gaps.
Stakeholder & Programme Support * Build effective working relationships across internal commercial, finance, operations, data and technology teams and external providers. * Prepare analysis, recommendations, impact assessments and decision materials for programme and governance forums. * Support business case development, benefits definition, dependency management and delivery planning. * Contribute templates, standards and lessons learned to strengthen business analysis across future transformations and projects.
