You'll be working in the Investment Bank IT (Agency Trading - Market Engineering Crew) team. Our role is to manage global applications, providing oversight, support, analysis, and solutions that implement a strategic architecture. This position is for a senior Java developer to join the Agency Trading - Market Engineering team to make valuable contributions to both the existing platform and play a pivotal role in the build-out of our strategic middle office solution using the proprietary state-of-art low latency framework. - Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend APIs, UI components, and end-to-end IDP document processing flows.
- Build and extend test automation frameworks with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and clear reporting.
- Support automated regression testing across different document types, attributes, and onboarding scenarios.
- Validate extracted results against expected data, golden datasets, and structured ground-truth files.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve feedback loops for development teams.
- Analyze test failures, investigate defects, and work closely with developers to identify root causes.
- Maintain and improve test data handling for anonymized datasets.
- Contribute to test strategy, quality gates, release readiness, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders in an agile delivery model.
- Promote automation-first and engineering-driven quality practices across the team.
MUST
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in core Java development and good concepts in OOPS, Collections, API design, and multithreading
- Hands-on Unix experience with shell scripting
- Good experience in unit testing using JUnit
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment
- Clear concepts in Git version control and branching strategy
- Strong experience in managing deliverables, risks, and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, ability to understand business requirements, and explain system behaviour to users
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience testing AI-assisted, agentic, or document-processing systems, with understanding of related quality and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with AI-related concepts and components, such as skills, tools, MCP servers, and agent communication patterns.
