Murex Business Analyst - MiFiD

We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance.

A client is embarking in a Transformation Program -- Fixed Income and Equities Cash Murex implementation -- for Global Banking and Markets (GBM) group in the Pacific Alliance Region. This Transformation aims to increase client's market share and results by reviewing and investing in business infrastructure End-to-End (E2E), including processes, technology and people/operating models.

• Solicit MIFID related Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs (When needed)
• Produce fields mapping between Murex and MIFID required fileds
• Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO/BO/Operations related MIFID related issues and necessary enhancements
• Complete day-to-day project tasks
• Actively contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Prepare collateral and participate in Client show sessions of developed solutions
• Assist existing support group(s) in resolve client request or issues
• Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

• Strong product knowledge in IRD (CRD would be a plus)
• Strong understanding of Markets and overall Financial concepts
• Good understanding of Regulatory data requirements
• Strong experience in Trading and Processing

Must:

• 4+ years' experience with Murex
• Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
• Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong organization skills
• Strong SQL, Unix, Sybase and Oracle skills

Nice-to-have:

• Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; FEM migrations experience
• MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades
