Your role:

  • Be a strong quality advocate, demonstrate quality mindset and cultivate testing in Scrum Team
  • Coach, mentor and support development team in software quality and testing areas
  • Lead activities related to unit testing for both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Roll out unit testing strategy to team and spread work among all team members
  • Match, discuss and adjust software testing strategy with overall project plans
  • Develop and optimize framework for creation of unit tests
  • Monitor actual code coverage, output from static analysis and react in a case of deviations from plan
  • Ensure that software implementation is consistent with architectural design
  • Detect, analyse and cover interactions between various software units and build up proper test pyramid
  • Evaluate test results, gather logs and help developers narrow down issues
  • Communicate tests results and suggestions in a fact-based manner with stakeholders
  • Plan, estimate and execute manual tests incl. exploratory and acceptance testing
  • Work on development tasks from team backlog (if needed)
  • Collaborate with customers and internal engineering groups

Who we're looking for?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • Solid relevant working experience (5 years plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have skills: C++ programming, unit testing, Linux, Git (or other version control), experience working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum), good level of English
  • Big plus for: Python, Adaptive/Classic Autosar, ROS, Jenkins, Jira, automotive/self-driving cars knowledge/experience (e.g. Coursera, Udacity or similar courses), ISTQB, CI/CD
  • Nice to have: C language, QNX, ARM processors, Uboot, ISO 26262, ASPICE, ADAS, automotive communication protocols, embedded systems, Coverity, Cmake, Bazel
