Project description

You'll be working in a new financial crime prevention team based in Poland, part of the global Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring program organization. Our role is to design and implement innovative IT solutions to help prevent, detect and report on financial crimes and terrorist financing activities. We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Your tasks

We are looking for Business Analyst with a knack for analysing business processes to:

  • Understand the platform and be fluent in trading transaction flows
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and teams to understand and articulate business requirements
  • Take a key role in AML rule tuning cycles, working closely with Compliance officers and our product vendor
  • Act as a key point of contact between the Financial Crimes Prevention Business and IT
  • Define requirements and acceptance criteria, develop detailed business requirements and guide them through implementation
  • Ensure that requirements are understood by all members of the project team
  • Work with key project stakeholders on business requirements and UAT testing • Assist in quality control and project management
  • Perform data analysis in support of our solutions
  • Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements

Who we're looking for?

  • 3-year experience as a business analyst in multi-project environments with globally distributed teams
  • Working experience in Agile Scrum delivery environment, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Solid understanding of business requirements gathering
  • Experience in holding requirement sessions with business stakeholders
  • Converting BRDs in functional requirements
  • Proficient in English both spoken and written
  • Strong and proven ‘soft’ skills with the ability to communicate requirements in a clear, accurate, concise, engaging and thorough manner to stakeholders across the board.
  • Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services, client-, account- and transaction data domain is highly desirable
  • A solid understanding of data associated with the banking and brokerage business, and regulatory issues ( knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA)
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think strategically to solve business problems
  • Outstanding written and oral communications as well as interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical detail to business-facing stakeholders and business change detail to technical facing stakeholders
  • Ability to establish credibility and build strong, confident, collaborative relationships with business and technology stakeholders including external parties, at all levels of the organisation
  • Results driven, self-motivated, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented; takes pride in his/her work
  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, presentation, and time management skills; ability to manage business expectations
  • Knowledge of editing XML, CSV and JSON files
  • Experience with identification and tracking RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Good MS Excel and SQL skills
  • Good understanding of workflow processes – knowledge of data flow. (DWH or similar experience)
  • Experience with AML processes, workflows and systems
  • Background in statistical analysis and/or a mathematics degree
  • Understanding microservices and cloud technologies
