You will be joining a friendly and dynamic Business Applications Web team within the Technology function, based across the UK and Poland. The team consists of 6 members and is responsible for the delivery and administration of all web-related services offered for the firm.

The primary aspect of the job will be to work within the team to deliver, maintain and support all our web-facing on premise, cloud and SaaS applications in a high-availability and fast paced environment.

Engineers will have experience and knowledge of delivering operational support to agreed SLAs. Familiarity of working within an ITIL framework as part of a Service Delivery department.

Candidates will demonstrate excellent technical proficiency, and analytical working practices across a range of diverse enterprise technologies with the primary experience based around .net Web Applications, Azure and DevOps. Previous experience in working in similar environments will be beneficial.

Role / Tasking

  • Management, and deployment of technical system, configuration changes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Taking part in multiple projects and programs, as part of the strategic or technology portfolio.
  • Effective & strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely

Your experience

Technical knowledge / experience

  • IIS.
  • .NET web applications using the .NET framework.
  • Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Release Pipelines.
  • Load balancing (including F5).
  • Single sign-on solutions (SAML, Okta).
  • PowerShell and Scripting.
  • Analytical tools such as PowerBI, Webtrends, Tableau, Excel.
  • Enterprise Infrastructure, including MS AD, SCCM, SCOM, Windows Server OS.
  • Basic networking concepts, diagnostic tools such as Wireshark or Fiddler
  • Certificate management & Security Patching
  • Basic SQL Scripting and database management
  • Operational infrastructure support experience in a 2nd or 3rd line role.
