Scala Developer

We touch the area of ​​Data & Analytics holistically and address all aspects important for organizations that undergo data transformation. Our teams work in many areas, such as Business Intelligence, Big Data, AI / ML, advanced data analytics, Data Governance or the definition of operating models for Data organizations.

What will you do:

• You will join Accenture's Client Team which is responsible for design and implementation of a high-performing, flexible, robust, scalable and easily maintainable global reporting solution for the Bank.
• Your work will be supported by Product Owner, Solution Architects and you will collaborate with other Developers and Analysts.
• You will take part in the wide scope project, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and develop your knowledge.

• Knowledge of good programming practices and solid experience with functional programming in Scala.
• Experience with Spark@Scala .
• Familiarity with Hadoop Landscape (e.g., Oozie, Kafka, Yarn).
• Previous project work experience (preferably in Scrum/Agile). 
• Communicative in business English (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience in data engineering and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of modern microservices architecture including container-based deployment and usage of Rest API.
