T Hub - Solution Architect (DevOps)

Network & Services International (NWI) develops, plans, builds and operates the international network infrastructure of DTAG and produces intercarrier and wholesale services for the sales unit Telekom Global Carrier. 

The unit Digitalization & Strategy empowers NWI in its ambition to obtain a digital production. 

As an Architect you help choosing and implement IT solutions. You evaluate, design, prototype and implement IT solutions which fit the business and comply with the applicable (enterprise) architecture. You will work together with highly acclaimed IT professionals and advise business stakeholders. 

The following aspects outline the major responsibilities of this position: 

• Develop and sophisticate comprehensive IT architecture for NWI 
• Craft, design and implement IT solutions in adherence to said architecture for individual business requirements considering wholistic implications such as reusability, sustainability and efficiency 
• Prototype, conduct proof of concepts, pilots and early life support 
• Introduce cutting-edge technology and be actively involved with implementation within the Group and in the industry (standardization, open source communities, suppliers, interest groups, patents, etc.)  
• Serve as a domain specific single point of contact for technical consulting, especially Network Orchestration and OSS sophistication 
• Identify automation opportunities 
• Managing projects

• University degree preferably in computer sciences or related field or several years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT solution design or software engineering 
• Excellent knowledge in modern IT stacks (CI/CD, cloud native, on and of premises infrastructure etc.) 
• Basic knowledge in network- and communication technologies and experience with TMF 
• Profound knowledge in requirements engineering, software design, automation and cloudification 
• Proven track record of hands-on involvement in software development projects involving modern frameworks and higher programming languages 
• Working proficient English (at least B2 level)

• Intense experience with agile types of cooperation 
• Experience with modern collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Atlassian products)
