Our team is in charge of development and maintenance of a large scale enterprise system consisting of Intranet web applications and back-end services. The system provides data management and workflow in the Client Lifecycle Management area in one of the top tier Investment Bank. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who would help us progress with implementation of new and maintenance of existing platforms, utilizing Java8, Spring, Oracle, Azure, etc
> Solid understanding of Core Java concepts and design patterns.
> Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code and automation.
> Identify bottlenecks and bugs in applications, and devise solutions to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
> Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for the new and existing features.
> Collaborate with peers on designs, code review and testing.
> Experience developing in Azure cloud environment (Good to have)
> Working with team in India location.
> Ability to work with the team in Agile methodologies.
MUST
> Have a degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master's degree)
> Have 5+ years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Postgres, Kafka, Azure, Kubernetes etc.)
> Strong coding skills in Java, Spring Boot and other Java based frameworks (must have)
> experience and expertise working in a microservices based architecture
> experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)
> have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA
> demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams
> background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
> strong analytical and problem solving skills
> collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
