• IT mainframe Network systems programming and general product support including configuring interfaces to other subsystems
  • Planning, coordination, installation, configuration, testing, administration, maintenance, updates, implementation, tracking changes and/or providing corrective maintenance to mainframe Network-related software
  • Diagnosing, resolving and documenting mainframe Network-related problems
  • Effective communication with software suppliers, peers, clients and Leadership
  • Maintaining current software and products by ensuring system availability and performance in accordance with service agreements
  • Monitoring and reporting on system/product performance, reliability and consistency
  • Prioritizing tasks, issues and concerns with self, team and clients
  • Being up-to-date of latest industry, trends, products, services with relevant existing and emerging technologies
  • Training and communicating with Associates and Clients for new upgrades and products
  • Assisting Clients with problem determination and problem solving

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Network Administration environment
  • Experience in Rexx programming
  • Good communication skills (English min B2)
  • Being a team player

  • Mastering z/OS communications server protocol (VTAM), EE, MPLS
  • Switch and Routers hands on experience (Cisco, etc.)
  • Protocols: OSPF, SDLC, SSH, SSL/TLS, AT-TLS, Ethernet, & APPC
  • Network monitoring & tuning: One or both of Omegamon for Mainframe Networks & NetSpy
  • File Transfer Products / Protocols: Eg FTP/SFTP/FTPS & Solve:FTS, CD
  • z/OS Unix System Services / OMVS
  • APPC(MVS) & ASCH
  • 3270 devices and emulation programs
  • Channel technologies: CTC, MPC, Escon, Ficon etc.
  • Telecommunication Service Offerings
  • Trace and dump capabilities (produce and analyze)
  • Tutor and mentoring activities will be requested to upskill the team members
  • Principles of: Change Management, Incident / Problem Management, Project Management, Security Compliance, Disaster Recovery and Client Focus.
