What you'll do
As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for contributing to the stability of our high-availability SaaS platform.
- Apply your outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address challenges swiftly and efficiently.
- Take ownership of building and refining our infrastructure, enabling rapid and reliable service deployments.
- Documenting standard processes and spearheading improvements to our systems and processes.
- Advance our commitment to 'Infrastructure as Code', driving innovation and efficiency in our deployment strategies.
- Develop and optimize our data ingestion pipeline, ensuring it operates seamlessly 'as a service'.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain service uptime, improve monitoring, and streamline incident response processes.
- Assist with the development and deployment ARM based CI/CD pipelines for all CSaaS teams and Services
- Assist with the development and deployment of Infrastructure CI/CD pipelines for ARM. This includes all components utilized in Kubernetes as a service: operators, CRDs, plugins, etc
- Assist with and ensure that all AWS services that are Graviton capable have been migrated to Graviton and are being used by CSaaS teams
- Assist with all modifications required to ensure all Infrastructure services can run on the ARM architecture (sercrets, monitoring, etc)
- Assist with all modifications required to ensure all CSaaS service team and their components can run on the ARM architecture
- Assist with testing and validation of all services running on the ARM architecture to ensure correctness, efficiency of operation, and cost savings can be measured and verified. This may involve building new QE, Sanity, Smoke, and Playwright tests
- Assist with developing and deploying monitoring services which monitor Graviton adoption, efficiencies gained, and overall costs
MUST
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working in or enabling infrastructure and foundation services to be compliant in a FIPs environment.
- Deep network knowledge and experience in maintaining networks and virtual networks in FIPS compliant environment.
- Knowledge of IPv6 networking and required changes at the code and/or service level.
- 5+ years of combined experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, and/or Software Development, in a growth-stage or enterprise-level SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration, with a focus on RedHat Linux (CentOS), Amazon Linux, or Azure Linux.
- Experience in cloud services operations, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Coding/scripting skills with languages such as Terraform or Python, and a track record of implementing automation in production environments.
- Experience in virtualization and containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and tools facilitating deployment (Istio/Helm/Kube2Iam).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience scaling and handling distributed data stores and services (e.g., Kafka, Elasticsearch), with a keen interest in Lambda architecture.
- Experience in developing, deploying, and managing systems with an emphasis on high-availability, low-latency, and scalability.
- Experience with big data platforms and engineering.
- Willingness and ability to provide on-call support as needed.
