Role Responsibilities- Manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive high performance.
- Collaborate with the product manager and key leaders across the company to create a shared roadmap and drive adoption of product usage data.
- Provide long-term strategic direction of GitLab’s in-product event instrumentation system.
- Foster technical decision making on the team.
- Draft quarterly OKRs and Engineering KPIs.
- Improve product quality, security, and performance.
- Run agile project management processes.
- Conduct managerial interviews for candidates, and train the team to do technical interviews.
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in a leadership role.
- In-depth technical experience with SQL, and one of Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with product analytics solutions such as Snowplow, Segment, Mixpanel, Pendo.
