Alfa Financial Software – the provider of the award-winning Alfa Systems – has selected the Tricity area as the home for its next international technology hub.
Join Alfa Financial Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the asset finance industry, as they continue to expand their Product Engineering group, currently comprising around 150 people. They're looking for Java Software Engineers to join their growing team of Java software engineers in the EMEA region.
What you’ll do:
- Solve problems to enhance our flagship product - Alfa Systems
- Translate client’s business requirements into incremental value-adding deliverables
- Decide how best to evolve Alfa Systems to keep our clients future ready
- Challenge each other to take the best next steps
- Grow the great ideas you and your team come up with
- Create a positive impact on our colleagues, clients, and the communities our organisation touches
Where you’ll work:
- Hybrid model: 2–3 days remote, rest from our coworking space at Olivia Centre, Gdańsk
- You'll work closely with teams across UK, Europe, North America
- Quarterly company events in EMEA (travel required 4x/year – London, Europe, etc.)

- We’re looking for a Java Developer with 2+ years of professional experience
- Solid skills in Java and a good understanding of software development principles are essential
- Familiarity with tools and technologies commonly used in modern Java-based development environments — such as testing frameworks, build tools, databases, CI/CD, cloud, or containerization
- English (B2+)

- JUnit & Mockito for open box testing
- Selenium for closed box testing
