SEO Specialist (She/He/They)

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll lead data-driven strategies that enhance search visibility and deliver measurable impact for global brands. You’ll own optimization initiatives end-to-end — from technical audits and performance analysis to actionable recommendations that drive growth. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Managing on-page, technical, and content-focused SEO projects for international clients. 
• Conducting in-depth audits and performance benchmarking to uncover opportunities and strengthen visibility across traditional and AI-driven search ecosystems. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to translate insights into actionable steps and business outcomes. 
• Staying ahead of evolving trends, including algorithm updates and AI-powered search (e.g., Google SGE / AI Overviews), ensuring strategies remain future-ready. 
• Mentoring junior team members and acting as a subject matter expert in SEO best practices.

• Experience: minimum 3-5 years of hands-on SEO work, including technical audits, content optimization, and performance analysis. 
• Technical SEO knowledge: Strong understanding of site architecture, mobile-first indexing, structured data (Schema.org / JSON-LD), page speed optimization, indexation workflows, and migrations. 
• Tools proficiency: experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Botify, Deepcrawl, or similar platforms. 
• Analytical mindset: ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Project ownership: comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and decision-making skills. 
• Communication skills: clear and confident in stakeholder interactions, both written and verbal. 
• Language: Fluency in English (C1) for international collaboration. 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: 

• Familiarity with AI-driven search experiences (Google SGE / AI Overviews) and their impact on visibility and structured data. 
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager). 
• Exposure to link-building strategies and off-page SEO. 
• Certifications such as Google Analytics IQ, HubSpot SEO, or similar. 
• Additional language skills (German is a plus). 
• A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Linguistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
