Data Competency is one of our new-born initiatives to support the digital transformation of the financial sector, enabling our customers to become truly data-driven companies. Our mission is to ensure capabilities to address financial sector data-related needs.


Tools & technologies used on projects:

  • Data architecture, data modeling, design patterns
  • RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • DataOps, ETL technologies
  • Real-time data streaming, Spark, Airflow, Kafka
  • OLTP, OLAP, DWH, data lakes
  • BI & predictive analytics; AI/ML
  • Python, Java, Scala, R

Your tasks

Your responsibilities and challenges:

  • Developing ETL solutions and automating data flows
  • Designing logical and physical models using formal techniques and design patterns
  • Monitoring performance and optimizing data warehouse provisioning processes
  • Advising on potential improvements and enhancements of existing data warehouse and reporting solutions
  • Work with Business Analysts, functional SMEs, and tech leads to ensure business requirements are adequately addressed in the design and later in the development processMonitor Data Warehouse jobs and troubleshoot failures
  • Advising on the use of appropriate methodologies and technologies
  • Designing comprehensive data architectures addressing clients’ needs and other aspects like data privacy and security, compliance with regulations, integrity, and availability, etc.

Who we're looking for?

We bet on you, so we expect you to:

  • At least 3y of commercial experience as a Data Warehouse (DWH) Developer
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling and developing data systems
  • Understanding of DWH concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL or T-SQL
  • Experience with integration patterns (ETL/ELT) and data migration
  • Very good English (min. B2)
  • Very good communication skills
  • Good understanding of software engineering
  • Be able to work in Poland and the European Union


We appreciate if additionally you:

  • Practical knowledge of selected technologies in the areas of data integrations, MDM, data analytics, AI, and/or data-driven process automation
  • Knowledge of insurtechs in the data area
  • Experience in software bidding processes
  • Fluent German or French
  • Experience in consulting
  • Work experience in Agile (Scrum) methodology
