Our client is a USA subsidiary of an Asian financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.

We are looking to backfill a mixed Dev/L3 support role (BAU) in a team responsible for a range of client J2EE applications for USA market.

Successful candidate will join a group of 3 people in different location and working mostly in WFH mode. Candidate should be ready to work US working hours (EST).

Technologies used: , Oracle, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, JMS/JFS, Unix Shell/Windows Batch/Perl, SSRS, MQ, Control-M, Jira/Confluence, EJB, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA.

  • Communicating with client on user issues.
  • Resolving client problems in different ways, proposing workarounds, applying fixes.
  • Programming in SQL, PL/SQL, Java

  • At least 4 years of experience with Oracle including stored procedures on PL/SQL.
  • Strong query writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with client in English: written/spoken English on advanced level or higher.
  • Basic Java skills, at least 1 year experience with Java.
  • Understanding common SDLC.
  • Experience working as L2/L3 support is a big plus.
  • Experience in SQL performance tuning, understanding query plan is a big plus.
  • Experience with Investment Banking, Finance would be a big plus.
  • Experience in .NET would be a plus.
