Project info:

  1. A new project is being developed in the green field approach – there’s no maintenance or legacy code.
  2. This is a new product as well as a team being built ground up.  
  3. Using modern technology:
  • GCP-based, native development
  • Monorepo-based development , 
  • Latest technology stack – latest c++ standards, latests java, modern frameworks etc.
  • Microservices 
  • gRPC/Proto based internal communication


Very well

  • Identifies technical design and clarifies implementation; Reviews code to ensure meeting of Definition of Done and collaboratively codes with the team. 
  • Develops, codes tests, and debugs new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity. 
  • Designs and codes critical system components in accordance with established coding standards and guidelines
  • Creates new ideas to improve application performance and stability
  • Mentors and guides team members
  • Works collaboratively with the team across geographical locations
  • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
  • Proactively understands business domain knowledge. 
  • Effectively works in interaction with other Developers, QA, and business analysts.
  • Must be able to act quickly under pressure to investigate and resolve real-time issues. 

Technical Skills Required

 Must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Modern C++ programming including at least C++14 and STL 
  • Solid tech background in creating new/or enhancing existing microservices
  • Deep knowledge in object-oriented programming, generic programming, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and systems architecture. 
  • Good communications in English 

Good to have:

  • Experience in Cloud deployments, Preferably in GCP 
  • Travel industry knowledge
