A Performance Quality Engineer is required to join and play a major part in this change taking a leading role in driving the design and implementation of standards while ensuring the relevance and quality of the testing performed, both internally and by partners, into what is becoming a more and more complex landscape incorporating in-house and partner led developments alongside SaaS based applications.

- Analyse the application/hardware under test, the performance testing requirements and the project acceptance criteria
- Design test scenario(s) and produce project test plans
- Direct partner resources in executing approved test plans
- Build and test performance scenario(s)
- Execute the tests, collate results from the performance test tool and produce analysis reports
- Contribute to performance bottleneck identification and resolution
- Responsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures in relation to security and quality best practice
- Have a strong understanding of performance test principles
- Have a deep understanding of the performance test project lifecycle and deliverables
- Considerable proven track record in performance testing
- Knowledge of multiple performance testing tools (such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling etc.) along with extensive experience using the LoadRunner family of tools
- Integrating Performance Tools into a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Technical Experience using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana)
- Technical Experience performance testing deployments/instances on AWS, Azure, GCP & Kubernetes
- Understanding of data requirements and methods of generating that data
- Experience of multiple platforms and environments in more than one industry sector
- Understanding of the challenges of performance testing internal, SaaS and hybrid application landscapes
- Experience of working directly with internal clients/teams
- Experience of interfacing with, and directing, partner teams and resources
