We are currently seeking a qualified Azure Support Engineer to join our team.

As an Azure Support Engineer, you'll assist in providing Level 1 support for our current Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. You'll collaborate closely with development teams and vendors to troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain our Azure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support end users via ServiceNow according to SLA
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in fixing production incidents, escalate to vendor when necessary, and effectively communicate with the vendor to address and clarify issues
  • Work according to an on-call schedule to provide 24x7 support (7-10 days per month, passive on-call)
  • Communicate and collaborate with L2 and development teams
  • Assist in development with the client
  • Enhance the existing Ops handbook with new cases
  • Process Azure extension requests
  • Create and support vendor tickets (Microsoft support requests) and relevant Jira tickets

  • 2+ years of experience in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
  • Skills in programming languages including Go, Golang Functions, and TypeScript
  • Understanding of incident management and IT support ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
  • Qualifications in technology support and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with collaborating with development teams and vendors
  • Flexibility to work on-call hours as part of a team providing 24x7 support

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  • Understanding of additional cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
  • General knowledge of networking concepts for effective troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Technology Infrastructure Library standards
