We are looking for a highly skilled Back-End Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and microservices architecture, along with experience in test automation (TDD/BDD) and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent technologies. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance back-end systems that support our applications and services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Python.
- Implement test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrations with front-end and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent containerization/orchestration tools to deploy and manage services efficiently.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Write and maintain clear documentation for developed services and APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in backend development.
MUST
- Strong proficiency in Python and back-end development.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on expertise in test automation using TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of API gateways and service mesh solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
