Team Leader - Web Apps

We seek motivated open-minded engineers to help us develop a pioneering cloud-based Video Surveillance product that rapidly gains market in the US and the rest of the World. The project is executed across two teams - one in Texas, US and the other located at the Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. After initial success, the product is now in the stage where rapid platform up-scaling is taking place and the feature set undergoes fast enhancement. It is a very interesting times to be around. Join us and you will have to learn fast and you will have a lot of satisfaction from the progress you make.

We are looking for candidates to lead the local team of 7 engineers (front- and back-end) and also contribute as a developer. Depending on your skill-set and experience you will be able to work on front-end, back-end or both.  The split between leadership and hands-on activities will be about 30/70

Your most important skill set that we are looking for is the ability to collaborate with the Product Management and take their generic product specifications and turn them into work items actionable by you team. We also expect you to grasp the overall business concept of the product and contribute to its development plans working with the Product Management.

To be able to also contribute as a developer, you will need a few years experience developing software with one of the following tech stacks:

• Javascript with Vue.js or Ractive.js,
  OR
  
• Python, Django, SQL databases

• have been active in the software business for 5 years or more
• have good communication and inter-personal skills
• have solid software engineering background
• be prepared to learn fast 
• have good command of English
