Requirements

Experience level: Mid

Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience working in IT Support (Helpdesk, Servicedesk);
  • English proficiency (particularly in writing), Business English certificate would be a plus;
  • Superb communication and team working capabilities;
  • University degree preferably in IT or electronics;
  • Good knowledge of internet networks, VM & Cloud solutions. Microsoft certificates would be a plus;
  • Managerial skills, sense of responsibility, high level of honesty and integrity;
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills.

Shift Supervisor position is responsible to build a strong technical support team, providing outstanding support to all Lionbridge customers (internal/external). He/she should promote an atmosphere of team harmony and success, striving to exceed all SLA’s.

As Shift Supervisor you will take an accountability for the group of 10 level one Service Desk Agents in regards to planning their availability, task assignment and activities. 

As part of your tasks you will:

  • Continuous improve of Helpdesk efficiency, especially around tasks automation-knowledge documentation;
  • Assign tasks and setting priorities for Helpdesk employees;
  • Support Helpdesk analysts in day-to day operations;
  • Monitor Helpdesk performance according to company’s policies and procedures;
  • Cooperate on daily basis with other Shift Supervisor to ensure efficient support provision by Helpdesk throughout a day;
  • Train and coach Helpdesk analysts;
  • Plan and monitor schedule: shift rotation, holidays coverage, vacations, breaks, overtime and night hours settlement, shift substitutions;
  • Cooperate with HR department including recruitment processes;
  • Be responsible for achieving targets;
  • Ensure Health and Safety at work;
  • Prepare of daily shift reports;
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management;
  • Follow respective policies and procedures.
