The Business Unit Cloud & Data is looking for a Practice Area Manager (or Senior Practice Area Manager) who will help to grow the business and the team dedicated to Cloud Migrations and Platform (CMP).
Objectives:
- Ensuring the growth and profitability of the CMP practice based on a clearly defined strategy, partner ecosystem, and portfolio.
- Developing competencies and capabilities of the team to meet the demand and strategic objectives & KPIs.
- Achieving subdepartment financial goals and strategy execution.
- Ensuring the appropriate quality of services/competencies provided to both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Taking overall responsibility for the management and delivery of the respective technology & business practice - Cloud Migrations and Platforms.
- Ensuring strategy execution for a given subdepartment, cascading down goals and targets.
- Taking direct responsibility for Costs/Utilization of the team.
- Being responsible for recruitment, and developing competencies of employees within the area.
- Staffing and managing delivery resources within the subdepartment, ensuring optimal availability of resources regarding the right competencies and cost.
- Presales and Business Development - being engaged and supporting sales opportunities, allocating suitable resources for RFI/RFP processes.
- Portfolio - building and developing the portfolio of services (offerings) within the domain.

- 8 years of IT professional experience.
- Working as a manager for at least 2 years (with people management responsibilities).
- Technical experience in the Cloud (AWS or Azure), DevOps and Platform Engineering – 4+ years.
- Leadership competencies - providing strong guidance and motivation to delivery staff.
- Entrepreneurial and business mindset.
- Open-minded person willing to share knowledge, input, and ideas for business development or GTM activities (portfolio and marketing).
