What You Will Do

  • Be a part of a self-organizing, cross-functional product team: 5 Software Engineers, a Product Manager, UX Designer, and Team Lead. We set the goals and then figure out how to achieve them, together.
  • Work on our most successful products and contribute to the decisions about the future of our products and Appfire. Your voice and expertise matter.
  • Follow the best engineering practices: automated testing, code reviews, pair programming, and YBIYRI (you built it you run it).

  • Salary Ranges: Perm (UoP) 13 000- 18 000 PLN gross/month (Possibility to apply for 50% tax deductible costs on creative works- AKUP/IP tax-deductible costs).

What We Would Like to See

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with back-end web technologies (e.g. JEE, Node.js). Frontend experience (e.g. React, Vue.js) would be an advantage. Whereas we appreciate some breadth, we value the depth even more!
  • Willingness to learn and use multiple technologies (frontend and backend).
  • Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies.
  • Good understanding of modern Cloud architectures, and practical experience implementing them in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong architectural understanding of web applications, including performance, quality, and security aspects.
  • Good grasp of SQL and relational databases.
  • Command of English at level B2 or higher.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks and NoSQL DBs would be an advantage.

Our core tech stack:

  • A cloud-native version of TFS4JIRA is cooked in TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js and runs on the Google Cloud Platform. The previous gen app is written in .NET and C#.
  • The cloud version of Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket uses Java, Gradle, and React, and runs on AWS. The previous-gen app is written in Java and Maven.
