Which AI tools do you use on a daily basis?
Chatbots gained at least several percentage points more in each specialization compared to last year. The exception is UX/UI specialists, who already indicated this tool in 79.8% of cases last year, now jumping to 83.1%.
A few years ago, Stack Overflow was the primary source of knowledge for programmers, and its popularity reflected how developers searched for solutions to their problems. Today, AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Google Code Assist are gradually taking over this role. Instead of browsing through dozens of threads, developers receive instant answers and code snippets tailored to the context of their projects. The decline in page views on sites like Stack Overflow in recent months only confirms this trend. In the next three years, AI will become even more advanced, not only suggesting code snippets but also predicting errors, optimizing algorithms, and automatically testing applications in real-time. Programming will start to resemble collaboration with an intelligent assistant that not only suggests solutions but actively participates in software development.
